A dusting of snow this weekend : 24th October 2011
A wee snow fall over the last few days
We had a another snow fall in the Portes du Soleil this weekend, our second in three weeks. Although there hasn't been a dump so much as a dusting snow has fallen up in Avoriaz and it's stuck around.
Temperatures have been cold here in Morzine and Avoriaz and this has meant that the snow is staying on the hill. The forecast for the week ahead is for cold, clear weather with a chance of snow on Tuesday so there may be a wee top up on the higher ground.
We're not getting too excited just yet as there's still a fair wait until the lifts open in December but it's always nice to see some of the white stuff up on the hill.
