Morzine Snow Report: 23rd March 2014

Great Snow After all that Sunshine

featured in Snow report Author James Fisher, Morzine Video Reporter Updated

After three weeks without snow the pistes were looking very spring-like in Morzine but today they were back to their wintery best with thigh deep powder.

There wasn't much to see on the slopes today and although the visibility got better from time-to-time the skiing was confined to the trees but it was excellent, the best snow we have had in weeks. The Stash and tree lined runs down to Linderets were excellent and the runs to the side of Chaux Fleurie were back on form too.

There was snow as low as Morzine so the conditions in Morzine and Les Gets will be pretty similar to those in Avoriaz.

Temperatures are staying low for the coming week and there is even some more snow on the way. We might not have any sunshine on the forecast for a few days but we will have some great skiing and snowboarding.
