Morzine Snow Report: 2nd February 2014
Fresh Snow with Patchy Clouds
Thanks to Sally from The Snow Institute Ski School for the low down on today's conditions.
Lovely powder conditions for skiing today with the new snow that has fallen overnight and this morning in Morzine and Les Gets. The fresh fifteen centimetres that fell on Saturday night is light and fluffy and there is now a layer of good new snow on the pistes.
With it being the weekend the pistes in Les Gets and Morzine have been chopped up and there are some moguls appearing, great for fans of the bumps. The light on Sunday was pretty varied. Although there were patches of blue sky breaking over Mont Chery most of the day was a bit overcast and the best place to head was to the tree lined runs.
It looks like Monday morning is going to be clear so we can get out and enjoy the fresh snow on the more open slopes. Enjoy the powder!!!
