Ô Chalet is a lively, laid-back spot in the centre of Morzine, known for serving tasty burgers, bagels, kebabs and crêpes at reasonable prices. With its broad, crowd-pleasing menu and buzzing, informal atmosphere, it’s perfect for a quick bite between activities, a relaxed après-ski snack or an easygoing meal with friends or family. Open all year round, it remains a firm favourite among both locals and visitors looking for great value and flavour.

You can’t come to Morzine and miss out on a visit to O Chalet in the centre of town. Somewhere between a fast food bar, a restaurant and a canteen, this lively spot has become a firm favourite with both locals and visitors. The atmosphere is young and buzzing, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the food is just as fantastic. There’s now a second O Chalet in the heart of Les Gets too.

The menu is broad and eclectic, offering something for everyone. You’ll find burgers, kebabs, paninis, wraps, salads, bagels, crepes and desserts, all served without any fuss. Their curly fries are legendary and make the perfect side to just about everything. The burgers are stacked and generous, well cooked and reasonably priced, with a great selection to choose from – including a rotating burger of the week.

Whether you’re popping in for lunch, après or dinner, O Chalet delivers good value, tasty food in a relaxed setting. The ordering system depends on the time of day or season – you’ll either head to the counter or be served at your table by the cheerful team. Food arrives on metal trays lined with chequered paper, adding a fun twist to the no-frills approach.

Families are very welcome and well looked after, even in larger groups. Staff are happy to help with special requests and take time to talk kids through the menu. It’s a great choice if you want something quick, easy and guaranteed to keep everyone happy.

Located just opposite the popular après bar Haka, O Chalet can get busy – especially after happy hour. But the turnover is fast and the large heated terrace means there’s usually space even in winter. In summer, the terrace becomes a sunny spot to enjoy a drink or bite to eat. You can also order for take-away if you're on the move.

Open every day throughout the summer and winter seasons, and one of the few places that stays open during the quieter interseason, O Chalet is a solid go-to when you want something simple, satisfying and a little bit indulgent.

The restaurant offers three inviting spaces, each with its own atmosphere. Relax in the cosy indoor dining room, freshly refurbished and offering panoramic views over the slopes, where you can enjoy refined cuisine inspired by both French brasserie classics and flavours from around the world. For a quick, friendly bite, the indoor brasserie is popular with locals and ski instructors alike - a great place to share a chat and a plate of something tasty.

Happy Hours also serves a long list of cocktails, beers, wine, and the famously strong Mutzig, usually by the half pint. Cookie Cafe is the highest-altitude bar in the Portes du Soleil, offering breathtaking views that often sit above the clouds. Since opening in 2013, this high-altitude gastro-pub has become a must-visit destination for skiers, hikers, and travellers seeking a relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere, complete with a chill-out lounge and a stunning mountain backdrop.

Cookie Cafe provides a refreshing alternative to the usual self-service restaurants, with a menu designed to delight every palate. From gourmet burgers and thick-cut fries to homemade soups, fresh salads, Taiwanese Bao Buns, pizza, paninis, and numerous vegetarian options, each dish is crafted from the finest ingredients, sourced locally wherever possible. Dining here is more than a meal - it’s an altitude culinary experience.

The bar complements the menu with a wide selection of drinks, including beers on tap, local craft brews, wines, prosecco by the glass or bottle, and warming vin chaud for a midday pick-me-up. Soft drinks, fresh juices, smoothies, milkshakes, tea, and coffee are also available.
