One of the largest linked ski areas in the world, as soon as the lifts open the season is on, whether it be summer or winter. The lifts system here gives access to unlimited possibilities for endless fun set against the most stunning of backdrops.
Pre-opening of the partial ski area is planned from 12 December 2026, but keep an eye on the Portes du Soleil website for confirmation of this.

Winter ski season dates in Morzine
When can you ski in Morzine?
Weather and snow conditions permitting, you can usually ski in Morzine from December to April using the lift system. Naturally, the season can be extended, typically with weekend openings in November or by ski-touring and hiking yourself up!
Season start and end dates may vary slightly as they are dependent on snow conditions. There may be a reduced ski area in operation if snow cover is insufficient.

The Prodains Express generally runs from 07:00 to 21:00 for pedestrians (later on weekends) and 09:00 to 17:00 for skiers. Other lifts run from approximately 09:00 to 16:00 daily.

Fewer on-mountain lifts are open in summer in Morzine, but there's still fantastic mountain access for hikers, bikers and selfie-takers!
