Morzine is part of the larger Portes du Soleil ski area, linked to Avoriaz and Les Gets. Morzine and its neighbouring villages benefit from having free regular local shuttle buses and a little tourist train that serves the centre and stops at the major ski lifts.

Morzine has a network of 10 free village shuttles that connect the different areas in town. Generally during winter the buses run every 30 minutes starting from 08:30.

Morzine offers a bus to the Prodains Express cable car for access to Avoriaz and a 'Petit Train' between the Pléney and Super Morzine lifts. The bus can be caught at various points in town, including a convenient stop in front of Rhodos. These shuttles run all day until late, making it easy to enjoy a full day on the slopes. However, it's important to check the last bus time, as it may vary.

Les Gets has its own free shuttle service around the village, it also has a door-to-door night shuttle service operating from 19:30 to 23:30 every night during the winter (from the third week of December to the second week of April). You can pay on the bus, but reservations are required in advance between 18:30 and 22:30.
