Morzine Snow Report: 12th December 2012
Snow gods have allowed an early opening
With the abundant snow we have had in Morzine, the moment has finally arrived to get out on the slopes with Avoriaz, Morzine & Les Gets opening this weekend.
All three resorts will open up their lifts on Saturday 15th December through to the end of the season.
For the opening week, 15th to 21st of December, limited lifts will be running in Morzine & Les Gets but this does mean the ski pass prices will be a bit kinder to your wallet. Morzine & Les Gets full day passes are only €22 for adults and €22 for kids, whilst 6 day passes are priced at €112 for adults and €84 for kids.
In Morzine the following lifts will be running:
- Télécabine du Pleney
- Télésiège des Mouilles
- Télésiège du Belvedere
- Télésiège de Nabor
Down the road in Les Gets the following lifts will be running:
- Télésiège Express des Chavannes
- Télécabine des Chavannes
- Télésiège de la Croix
- Téléski de la Tête des Crêts
- Téléski de la Mouille au Roi
- Télésiège des Folliets du Golf (liaison Morzine)
- Tapis débutant des Chavannes
Whilst up in Avoriaz the Rock On Snowboard Tour opens up the whole of the resort, with free tests of latest snowboard gear and live music & parties on the piste.
