Mountain Rehab understand the type of injuries that can be sustained when pursuing sport in the mountains and know that, when you come out on your holiday, every moment is precious. You don’t want aches, pains and injuries to hold you back. Their aim is to ensure that you get the best advice and treatment to ensure you can make the most of your time in the mountains.

Based within the L'Aiglon de Morzine Residence, Mountain Rehab are easily accessible, just five minutes walk from the centre of resort.

Massage
They offer sports massage - a treatment specific to your sport and targeting those areas of your body which are most in need of attention. Deep tissue massage - a thorough all over massage to work out those more troublesome knots with fascial release techniques. Relaxing/post exercise massage - soothing and gentle for the end of the day or just want an hour to yourself.

Physiotherapy
If you have sustained an injury while on holiday or are carrying an injury when you arrive, they offer a professional service which can include:

• Full and thorough assessment of your problem
• Early advice and recommendation of appropriate exercises
• Strapping and taping
• Joint mobilisation
• Specific soft tissue release

Whatever your injury, early diagnosis and treatment is vitally important in making a quick recovery. Their physios are French and English registered and you may be able to re-claim the cost of your treatment through your travel insurance.

Mobile Service
Mountain Rehab offer a mobile service where they will visit you at your accommodation fully equipped with everything they need for your treatment, including a treatment couch, soft towels, oils and relaxing music. They will travel to Morzine, Les Gets, Essert-Romand and St Jean d'Aulps as well as other areas in the locality on request.

Pilates
If you are recovering from surgery or injury, there is strong evidence that a course of modified Pilates exercises can be beneficial. Pilates can also enhance your sporting performance by improving your core strength, body awareness and by improving muscle recruitment patterns.

Gym

The Water Playhouse
This colourful first space is dedicated to younger children and features geysers and pouring water play equipment including water slides, water guns and a tipping bucket that pours out tens of litres of water at a time. This extends into a large paddling pool.

The Slidewinder 
For the most adventurous bathers who are looking for big thrills and an adrenaline buzz. More than 10 metres up, you sit in a rubber tube and slide down a halfpipe, returning to terra firma after a long ride down.

The chill-out space
Located in the central pool, this space is made up of a gently flowing river with water games (bubbles, jets and faster and slower sections), two areas of bubble-massage seats, a 1.2 m deep pool below a climbing wall that extends for its entire length and not forgetting the outdoor Jacuzzi with its uninterrupted view of the valley.

Aqua fitness
The lifeguards at Aquariaz offer aquatic sports classes including aqua zumba, fitness, slim, punishing and aqua step. All 45 minute classes.

The Buzz team place great importance on fitness, nurturing a happy and healthy lifestyle. Through an enthusiastic, energetic and positive approach to fitness, Buzz Performance aims to inspire and empower you to become the best version of yourself.

Buzz offer a variety of fitness classes, coached training sessions and personal training programs throughout the entire year, including spinning, suspension training, body conditioning and swimming. They also run cycling and triathlon guidance, training, trips and holidays with schedules and options for all abilities.

All Buzz instructors are fully French qualified and insured and ready to assist you to be the best you can be.

The Hive is on the route d'Avoriaz on the outskirts of Morzine.

You will find various cardio machines here (treadmill, bikes and rowing) as well as a range of free-weights, benches and weight lifting machines. The gym also includes four treatment rooms, a studio for fitness classes and a dedicated Pilates room.

After you have completed your workout you can look forward to unwinding in the gym's sauna. They also offer sports massages and physiotherapy, perfect for those aching muscles.

Mountain Rehab offers yearly and seasonal memberships. For non-members, you can book a time in the gym by emailing or calling their office.

Winter opening hours are 07:00-21:00 Monday to Friday, and 08:00-20:00 Saturday and Sunday.

In summertime, the swimming complex at the edge of the Parc des Dereches, in the heart of Morzine, is the ideal place to while away a sunny day with all the family. The large outdoor paddling and teaching pools, volleyball courts, bouncy castle and waterslide will keep the kids entertained if you’re in the mood to hammer out some lengths in the Olympic sized pool (50x21m). The loungers and grassy park make for a great spot to catch up with friends, read a book or simply work on your tan.

There are three indoor pools for rainy days too: a paddling pool, teaching pool and 25x15m pool, as well as a large spa and sauna area with Turkish baths.

The changing rooms are well equipped with lockers, hairdryers and showers. There is a strict “no shorts” policy in the water, so no trunks or boardies allowed. However, vending machines provide swimming costumes and goggles for any forgotten necessities. The café supplies hungry swimmers with a host of treats from crêpes and ice creams to salads and sandwiches. Not a bad spot for a coffee either! 

Indoor and outdoor ice skating rinks are open in winter, both for public use and for ice hockey matches - come and cheer on the Morzine Penguins if there is a game on while you're in town.

Other facilities include tennis courts, fitness classes, basketball courts, skate park, walking trails, children's playground, street hockey rink, a treetop adventure park and a horse riding centre. Some of the facilities are free, others are paid - please see the website for all admission prices.

Situated right in the centre of the village, they offer skates and toboggan hire for children and organise ice parties.

Open daily in the mornings, afternoons and evenings. Opening hours depend on the time of year and weather conditions. 

Perfect for the whole family, the ice rink features music and lights and there are shows for children and adults performed every week.

Classic ice skates and hockey skates are available for hire, and there are ice games for children. You can buy a single entry or take a multi entry pass.

Open every day and evening throughout the winter season.

Indoor ice rink
The indoor ice rink is at The Palais des Sports complex under the Super Morzine bridge. This large indoor ice rink is where the Mozine Penguins play ice hockey matches and is open in the day time during the week.
