Inside and out La Rotonde is the picture of classic alpine chic, wood and stone clad and with alpine decorations it gives a rustic cosy mountain feel. The restaurant offers three dining areas inside, plus a large terrace - covered and heated in the winter and bathed in sun in the summer, as well as a garden available in the summer. This restaurant offers a wonderful mix of tradition and modernity, and offers an extensive menu of à la carte dishes as well as a dedicated pizza menu available to eat in or take away.

Despite it's mountain feel, the restaurant offers far more than the traditional Savoyarde fare. Of course, the usual fondue and tartiflette are on the menu, as well as French classics, but you'll also find a wide selection of international dishes such as thai beef salad, poke bowl, tuna tataki, and Indian peanut butter chicken. There is also a good offering of vegetarian dishes, as well as a dedicated pizza menu.

If you like your wine you won't be disappointed - the huge wine list features a wide selection from across France, as well as some international options. 

For large groups this restaurant is a great choice, with plenty space and different dining areas which can give a semi-privatised feel.

You can’t come to Morzine and miss out on a visit to O Chalet in the centre of town. Somewhere between a fast food bar, a restaurant and a canteen, this lively spot has become a firm favourite with both locals and visitors. The atmosphere is young and buzzing, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the food is just as fantastic. There’s now a second O Chalet in the heart of Les Gets too.

The menu is broad and eclectic, offering something for everyone. You’ll find burgers, kebabs, paninis, wraps, salads, bagels, crepes and desserts, all served without any fuss. Their curly fries are legendary and make the perfect side to just about everything. The burgers are stacked and generous, well cooked and reasonably priced, with a great selection to choose from – including a rotating burger of the week.

Whether you’re popping in for lunch, après or dinner, O Chalet delivers good value, tasty food in a relaxed setting. The ordering system depends on the time of day or season – you’ll either head to the counter or be served at your table by the cheerful team. Food arrives on metal trays lined with chequered paper, adding a fun twist to the no-frills approach.

Families are very welcome and well looked after, even in larger groups. Staff are happy to help with special requests and take time to talk kids through the menu. It’s a great choice if you want something quick, easy and guaranteed to keep everyone happy.

Located just opposite the popular après bar Haka, O Chalet can get busy – especially after happy hour. But the turnover is fast and the large heated terrace means there’s usually space even in winter. In summer, the terrace becomes a sunny spot to enjoy a drink or bite to eat. You can also order for take-away if you're on the move.

Open every day throughout the summer and winter seasons, and one of the few places that stays open during the quieter interseason, O Chalet is a solid go-to when you want something simple, satisfying and a little bit indulgent.

On clear days, the picture windows at the back offer stunning views all the way up to Avoriaz.

The menu is extensive, offering a blend of Savoyard specialities, brasserie classics and crowd-pleasers. You’ll find fondue, pierrade, foie gras and daily specials alongside pizzas, pancakes and a great selection of burgers. The burger menu alone makes it worth a visit, featuring everything from a classic cheeseburger to a fish burger, chicken burger and a rich hunter burger made with stag meat and wild mushrooms. There’s even a surprise vegan bagel burger, so everyone is catered for.

These are proper burgers – thick, steaky and cooked to order, served in hearty, grainy bread from the local bakery with crispy French fries on the side. Prices hover around €17, offering good value for the quality and size. Established in 1926, Bar Robinson - or “Robbos” as it’s fondly known by locals - is one of Morzine’s oldest and most iconic bars. Located at the bottom of Rue du Bourg, right in the commercial heart of town, this family-run establishment has been welcoming guests for three generations. Its long history and warm, unpretentious atmosphere have made it a true Morzine institution.

Famous for its early closing time, Bar Robinson has earned a well-deserved reputation as one of the best après-ski spots in town. Located in The Hive Gym and Fitness centre, on route d'Avoriaz, just outside of Morzine town centre. Enjoy the sunny terrace by the river. Eat in or takeaway and there is a dinner delivery service available.

Open Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00 all year round, open Saturdays 10:00 to 15:00 in summer and winter season - opening days and times may vary according to the season.
