Big congratulations are in order for teen snowboarding star Maisie Hill who this weekend defended (& won) her title as French under 15's Slopestyle Snowboarding Champion.

It’s the second time Maisie Hill has taken the title and it puts her in a great position for the British Championships which take place in a couple of weeks in Laax. She also took home gold at the Junior French Big Air Championship after completing a huge back flip!

Maisie Qualified for the championship with two regional wins this season, in Serre Chevalier and her home stomping ground of Avoriaz Snowzone. She then went to the French slopestyle final in sunny Isola 2000 near the South coast of France with full confidence. Maisie held super impressive across the variety of rails, kickers and backflip to finish the day. Dad, Steve Hill and club Avoriaz Snowboarding Penguins are extremely proud! Two gold medals for Slopestyle and Big Air.

Last year Maisie became British Women’s Half Pipe Champ in Tignes along with age group champion titles. Now with a new venue in Laax Switzerland, Maisie is buzzing to catch up with her teammates in the junior GB Park and Pipe team and to get back onto the famous “Super Pipe”.

Volkl snowboards, Panda Optics, Stupid Clothing and Morzine’s Stardust Factory Beanies have been great supporting Maisie with her talent on the slopes. As the Audi European Cup Finals and larger events are on the horizon, Maisie will be in need of a sponsor to help fund her travel and training. If your business or brand can help, please visit and contact her via her website. Maisie would be more than happy to help promote your business or brand via her social media pages.

A big well done to Maisie from all of the SeeMorzine.com team!
