Morzine summer mountain natural trail races
The Trail des Hauts Forts are all natural trail running races with a short, medium race and long race as well as a relay race. From Morzine at 1,000m, up to Avoriaz at 1,800m, the track crosses one of the most beautiful trails of the fabulous Portes du Soleil domain.
The course is varied and rhythmic, aerial in places, with an army of volunteers to encourage and refuel you. Ideally placed on the calendar at three weeks from the UTMB, the courses are ITRA certified and registered on the list of UTMB® World Series Qualifiers.
There are a choice of four races with varying levels of ascent and descent
52 km - Trail des Hauts Forts
36 km - Trail du Fornet
23 km - Trail des Mines d'Or
52 km - Relais des Contrebandiers

Facts and figures
These races are run with fuel autonomy, meaning no solid supplies are provided, but liquid supplies are. There is also as usual the basins and natural water points indicated on the course.
