Happy Hours Bar is a buzzing après-ski and lunch spot at the base of the Ardent lift, serving burgers, nachos, tacos and well known chilli fries. The burger menu includes beef, chicken, pulled pork and veggie options with big flavours and generous portions. With themed parties, live music and mountain views, it’s always worth a visit.

Happy Hours Bar sits right at the foot of the Ardent cable car, making it the perfect place to fuel up during the day or celebrate after a big one on the mountain. Known for its high-energy après scene and quirky themed parties, this is not the place for a quiet drink – it’s loud, fun and full of life. There's a huge outdoor terrace with deck chairs, heaters and music, and a small amount of indoor seating for those wet or chilly days.

The food menu is a mix of American and Mexican-inspired dishes with a twist. Think nachos, tacos, chilli cheese fries, hot dogs and big salads – all served in generous portions. The burger menu is also a strong contender for the best in town, with beef, chicken, pulled pork and veggie options available. All are packed with flavour and ideal for lining the stomach before or after a few drinks. The cheesy chips and chilli fries are a local favourite and well worth a try.

Happy Hours also has a hot dog stand, regular drinks offers and a long list of cocktails, beers and wine. The famously strong Mutzig is usually served by the half pint, but you’ll find plenty of other drinks on offer if that’s not your style. The team here are known for their energy and friendliness – quick to take your order and even quicker to get a drink in your hand.

Events are a big part of the experience, especially on Wednesdays when the après party ramps up with a live DJ set from a booth inspired by the Millennium Falcon. From hippy nights to Japan-themed parties, there’s always something going on. A free taxi service back to Morzine runs on Wednesdays after the last bus leaves at 18:00 so you can stay for the full après experience.

Open throughout the winter and summer seasons, Happy Hours is also a good choice for lunch with great food at reasonable prices and plenty of veggie options too. Whether you’re skiing, snowboarding, biking or just along for the ride, it’s well worth adding to your list.
