Hideout Bar, located within the popular Hideout Hostel in Morzine, is renowned for the vibrant and flavour-packed food served at its in-house restaurant. Rather than focusing on traditional alpine cuisine, which can be found across the resort, Hideout takes a refreshing detour with fresh and exciting Asian street food.
Drawing inspiration from cities like Ho Chi Minh, Osaka, Jakarta, and Seoul, the menu is a culinary journey through Asia’s most flavoursome streets. Guests can enjoy a “sumo selection” of bao, hearty bowls, gyozas, and a variety of small plates, alongside weekly specials that keep the menu inventive and exciting. Every dish is bold, fresh, and packed with taste, making it a favourite for lovers of Asian cuisine.
The bar itself is equally enticing, offering a creative cocktail menu that matches the food’s flair. Exotic options include a gin classic with a twist - the “Lychee and Lemongrass Collins” - a rum-based “Jungle Bird”, and a tropical “Mango-rita” of tequila, mango purée, lime, and sugar.
