The ESF torchlit descent is one of those attractions that everyone remembers seeing for the first time, a true Alpine classic.
The members of the ESF ski school come down the Pléney with flaming torches in hand and create a line of fire that weaves into town. Sip on a free vin chaud and watch the fabulous fireworks display afterwards from the Pleney stadium.
A firm family favourite, not to be missed. Free entry.
February 15 is the great torchlit descent with the sale of torches to benefit the “Children and Mountains Association” this is coordinated by France Montagne.
