Plans for New Ski Lift to Connect Morzine and Avoriaz

The season may be drawing to a close but there's snow falling up high and the details have just been released of new ski lift to link Morzine and Avoriaz.
While there has been talk of such a plan for some time, the project now has an officiial title: '1 Town, 2 Resorts, 1 Future'.
It is intended that the new lift will link the centres of the two ski resorts via a base in Prodains. Details of two proposed routes for the new gondola are included in the recently released official video presentation.
It is hoped that the project will benefit skiers, bikers, hikers and regular tourists, aswell as reducing pollution levels in the area.
