Pleney Morzine Lift Closed for Summer 2013
Morzine lift closure subject to building permit
The Morzine lift company, SA Téléphérique du Pleney, have announced that the Pleney cable car will be closed for summer 2013.
Due to the anticipated replacement of the Pleney cable car, the Pleney lift will be closed for the whole of summer 2013.
The construction of the new lift is still subject to building regulations acceptance so the situation could change, as such confirmation will be provided by the lift company at the end of the month.
Despite the Pleney lift closure the Crusaz and the Pointe de Nyon chairlifts will be open, allowing for summer sledging and hiking.
Other options are currently under consideration to maintain mountain-biking possibilities in Morzine.
