La Paika Restaurant, Les Gets

Traditional mountain restaurant in Les Gets

Featured in: | Updated

Open throughout the winter season, this restaurant, located in the heart of the Les Gets ski area offers you a warm welcome. There's a sunny terrace with stunning views, fantastic food, good wine, and infamous BBQ buffets.

The chef prepares daily specials according to seasonal produce bought from the local market. His cuisine is an artful blend of traditional and modern flavours.

Located on the blue slope of the “La Turche” draglift, they're open 7 days a week until the lifts close.

Don’t hesitate to contact them to find out how to get there on foot (Snow-shoes recommended). Alternatively, you can always take the shuttle which leaves from the hotel La Marmotte (who run this restaurant) at 10:45am every Tuesday and Thursday of the season. You are welcome to call in any time but reservations are advised to avoid disappointment.

In summer the restaurant opens every Saturday lunchtime for a rural BBQ - departure from Hotel La Marmotte at 11:00am.

Take a look at their menu for 2020.

  • "Popular mountain restaurant. Essential to book. We were lucky and got squeezed in but we tried to book for later in the week as well and we couldn't get a table. Hot cheese served in a basket with salad was fantastic. All other dishes looked great as well. This place should be on everyone's list of places to eat on a ski holiday to Morzine/Les Gets." - Trip Advisor
  • "Situated on La Turche run into Les Gets. Le Paika has a large sun terrace but thankfully has glass screens to reduce the impact of the wind. The food was excellent. We both had the hot goats cheese salad. I was v envious of those having the steak, cooked on the outside BBQ, which looked delicious. One of the more expensive mountain restaurants in Les Gets, but definitely worth it." - Trip Advisor
  • "Amazing quality, you get what you pay for. Had the gigantic garlic prawns on the bbq and you can select items of meat too, the desserts looked awesome. I am a real foodie and the quality here is very good value and different from your usual French slope food. The bread is freshly baked and even the butter tastes amazing! Will definitely be visiting here next year!" - Trip Advisor
