Quiet slopes in Morzine after the busy holidays

Decent snow cover despite the lack of fresh snow

Blue skies have reigned over the first days of 2020 in Morzine, with wall to wall sunshine. And now, after the busy Christmas and New Year holidays, the slopes are really quiet.

However, the snow has started to suffer a little bit at the bottom of the pistes, where it can be a bit patchy even if the home runs are still open. The forecast is suggesting that these fair weather conditions will continue.

Upcoming Events

Morzine hosts a wide range of events throughout the year. The biggest winter festival is the Rock des Pistes week in March, where live bands play up on the pistes, with many other concerts being held in resort during the evenings. Highlights in summer include Crankworx and the Pass'portes du Soleil (two large mountain biking events), and the Spartan obstacle course race.
