Just 50m from the bottom of the Pleney lift in the centre of Morzine, this is a great place to stop in for lunch and is popular with lots of locals.

It plays funky music (but not too loud thankfully) and has a heated patio where you can sit and watch the world go by while you're having a bite to eat.

When I stopped in for lunch, I found plenty to choose from on the menu including fine cuts of meat with a selection of sauces, pizzas, crepes, fish, pasta, vegetarian and a menu for kids too. (The kids I saw there seemed very happy with the food they were having and enjoying their surroundings, which isn't surprising since you're sat under a see through canopy which keeps you nice and warm, whilst you enjoy views of the mountains!)

It's a restaurant for every occasion - busy with families and groups in the day, and couples, groups and parties in the evenings - booking a table at night is a must to avoid disappointment though!

I had one of the best meals I'd eaten in a long time here, starting with the pate which was accompanied with cornichons, bread and pickled onions. For the main (my real favourite) I ordered the plat du jour which was 2 rabbit thighs with a prune sauce and rice. I can't say I was disappointed in any way when it arrived at the table - it looked great and there was lots of it (thank goodness because I have a big appetite!).

The service was really good too, I had a good banter with the waiter who was joking and laughing will all the guests, creating a really positive atmosphere. And the prices will keep you smiling too - my bargain plat du jour was just 10 euros, and the main meals range between 8-30 euros per plate (from simple pizzas to huge steaks). A dessert will cost around 6 euros.

I would highly recommend you try this place out, whether it be with your partner, friends or parents. They let the food do the talking & it wins!
