Le Choucas restaurant review
Excellent Pizzas at this Handy Lunch Stop
This restaurant is located in the centre of Les Gets on the main high street but not too far from the slopes. Several people were in ski gear, however reassuringly most of the diners were locals out for a spot of lunch.
Surprisingly they did not offer a plat du jour but a quick browse of the menu and neighbours plates pointed me towards the pizza menu. Le Choucas have a wide variety of pizza's, so I decided to go for something spicy and chose the 'San Remo'.
The service was very friendly and as a reflection of the tourism in Les Gets, the staff insisted on speaking English despite my best French accent.
My pizza arrived fresh from the oven and looked fantastic. Accompanied with a light side salad, I was left feeling very full and satisfied.
I can definitely recommend this restaurant for both lunch and dinner and it comfortably caters for every occasion, be it a family lunch break in ski boots or a quiet dinner for 2.
