Established in 1999, Easy2Ride Ski and Snowboard Academy in Morzine is an International Ski School based at 614 Avenue De Joux-Plane at the bottom of the Pleny slopes in Morzine.

Easy2Ride has fully qualified English speaking instructors who combine outstanding tuition with a fun and professional approach to learning to ensure that the lessons are fun as well as educational, an approach that has helped them to win a Trip Advisor certificate of Excellence in 2015.

They have an English speaking office staff who all possess excellent local knowledge which they are happy to share with their clients.

They offer private ski and snowboard lessons in one hour blocks, morning or afternoon, which costs from 60 to 70 euros an hour, depending on the time of year. These will be tailor made to the skiers ability. They also offer a full day’s private tuition for one to four people from 420 euros for a day, with the option of adding extra people for 50 euros. This is a seven hour long lesson with one hour for lunch.

Easy2Ride pride themselves on keeping group lesson numbers low to ensure the best possible service and the most possible one on one time with the instructor. For both children and adults the beginner groups are kept to a maximum of six students, while more experienced groups are kept to a maximum of eight.

For children the prices range from 180 euros to 285 euros, depending on the time of year, and includes two to two and a half hour sessions, morning or afternoon, five days a week. They use the Ecole Du Ski International medal system for children so that the students are working towards something, and so that if they return the following year it is easier to tell the instructors what their level is, and what they will be aiming for that year.

For adults the same price structure and lesson times apply, but also include video tuition offering a chance to look back on the day and see where you have gone wrong and where you have improved.

Adults are classed for group lessons in the following groups -

  • Beginners - I have never put skis on
  • Class 1 - I can do snowplough turns but I need to build confidence
  • Class 2 - I am starting to make parallel turns on blue slopes
  • Class 3 - I can do parallel turns on red slopes and stop with my skis parallel

Easy2Ride also offer up to 40% discount on ski hire with Intersport, plus the convenience of ski storage at the Intersport shop (next door to the Easy2Ride offices). They also offer a 10% discount on ski passes.

Booking is simple using the online booking form on their website (via the links above) or they can be contacted on +33 (0)4 50 79 05 16.
