A nice change from the traditional Savoyarde dishes, this restaurant brings traditional (and secret) family recipes to tantalise your taste buds with something new and unexpected in Les Gets. It's simple, good, affordable food. 

Excellent for sharing with family and friends, you can eat in the restaurant or order just one or a whole box to take-away for a picnic or special dinner at home.

There are meat and vegetarian options.

After you have worked up an appetite on the mountain, why not head to this great restaurant which offers regional and local specialities and modern french cuisine which can be washed down with a delicious glass of wine from their extensive list.

La Piscine 1971 is part of the Hotel Le Labrador. The restaurant has been completely renovated and transformed recently with a modern and stylish Savoyard look and great contemporary art. During the summer months you can sit outside on the sunny terrace and enjoy a Sunday brunch.

The menu includes modern french dishes alongside the local specialities including fondues, raclette and tartiflette you expect in a Savoyard mountain resort.

New in 2023 - Nico Beach, a chic bar lounge around a large terrace and pool offering cocktails and snacks open every day in summer.

The restaurant is open in winter and summer every evening.

Not sure what you fancy? Then this is probably the place to come.  With a little bit of everything on the menu you are pretty much guaranteed to find something to satisfy all tastes.  

In a friendly, relaxed setting, you can choose from pizza and pastas, to fish & chips, noodles, wraps or big fat burgers, all at very reasonable prices. Or if you just want something small or a few picky bits to share amongst friends, then the wine bar, cocktails and tapas menu should hit the spot. 

Eat in or take away! Le Boomerang is open 7 days a week in summer and winter and with reduced hours during the inter-season.

4. Le Belvedere Restaurant

Le Belvédère, perched at the top of the Mont Chéry télécabine, serves classic Savoyard dishes alongside its signature Belvéd’ burger, layered between crispy potato rösti and topped with a rich mushroom sauce. The spacious, south-facing terrace offers sweeping views across to Mont Blanc, making it an unforgettable place to soak up the scenery. Whether you’re unwinding after a morning on the slopes or settling in for a long, sunny lunch, it’s a true mountain gem.

Le Belvédère sits at the top of the Mont Chéry tele-cabine, making it a perfect spot to meet friends, take a break and soak up the sunshine on the south-facing terrace. Whether you’re skiing or just enjoying the mountain air, you can choose between a sit-down restaurant experience or a quicker self-service option.

The menu focuses mainly on traditional Savoyard dishes like tartiflette and fondue, alongside some modern French favourites. The specialty Belvéd’ burger is served between two crispy potato rostis with a rich mushroom sauce, offering a delicious twist on the classic.

Open every day during the winter and summer seasons, Le Belvédère is as much about the food as it is the incredible panoramic views of Mont Blanc from the terrace. It’s a great choice if you want a taste of the mountains with something a little different.

5. La Piste Noire Restaurant

This fantastic restaurant is situated within the charming La Marmotte Hotel in the heart of Les Gets.

It has a contemporary vibe with a chic mountain interior and a green design. The large picture windows provide fantastic panoramic views out over resort and the welcoming attentive staff create a relaxing, friendly atmosphere.

The Chef offers a richly diverse and highly tasty vegetarian menu combining both traditional and modern dishes all prepared with the finest, fresh, local, seasonal and sustainable produce. 

There are vegan and gluten free options available. A discovery menu and sharing tapas.

The restaurant is open throughout the winter season every evening (except Sundays outside of school holidays) and booking is advisable.

6. La Fruitière des Perrières Restaurant

La Fruitière des Perrières was created at the start of the 20th Century and has been producing and selling local cheeses ever since. In 1992 the old cellar was transformed into a restaurant, run by the same family who has owned the premises since the 1950s.

This lovely local family-run restaurant is a real hidden gem, serving only local produce and served with love. Dinner here will be an experience unlike no other, full of authentic alpine charm set within the cellars where the cheese would have once been left to mature.

Cheeses produced onsite include Abondance, Tomme des Gets, Raclette, Saveur des Gets, as well as yoghurts and cream cheeses. These form a key part of the restaurant menu, with local specialities including fondue, raclette and Berthoud (grandmother's oven-baked Abondance recipe), all homemade of course!

After all the cheese, finish with a light ice cream dessert or a speciality meringue.

The restaurant is open in summer and winter only in the evenings. Closed on Sundays.

On site you'll also find the shop selling their cheeses as well as other local regional produce and they have an on line shop. You can take guided tours around the fromagerie too on a Wednesday morning by reservation.

7. Velvette Cafe & Restaurant

Velvette is a concept store, tea room and Italian style restaurant in central Les Gets, with a curated touch of luxury and style created by founder Sarah and her talented team.

Brighten your day with a fabulous coffee or tea and delicious home made pastries and cakes. Enjoy a light lunch, après-ski drink or Italian style cuisine dinner. 

It is hard to resist the beautiful display of daily handmade cakes, desserts and pastries available all day long with various styles of coffee and teas. 

Enjoy lunch and dinner on the outdoor terrace or indoor and upstairs dining area with a covered terrace. The menu includes interesting dishes inspired from dishes around the world. Sharing plates and vegetarisn options. Fabulous pizzas created in the traditional pizza oven. All dishes are produced using locally sourced and organic products.

There is a small play area to keep the children occupied while you enjoy your coffee break!

Open daily during the seasons from 08:30 to 22:00.  Also open interseason but hours may vary.

8. La R'Mize Restaurant

Serving traditional Savoyard dishes, this is a popular lunch and dinner spot for locals and tourists alike.

La Remise serves excellent local food, with tartiflette, fondue and pierrade amongst the firm faovourites. Classic French dishes also compliment the menu, with succulent meats as well as delicious home-made desserts.

Inside it has a cosy traditional mountain feel, but with lovely modern furnishings.

Located slightly out of the main tourist centre of town, the restaurant has a local and less touristy feel, but is still a popular restaurant, so be sure to book!

Open every day except Wednesdays for lunch from 12:00 - 14:00 and dinner from 19:00-21:30.

9. Basskour

In the centre of Les Gets, Basskour has a fun and modern vibe with live music from local DJs

Eat in the large dining room or outside on the terrace, snacks, sharing plates and interesting modern french dishes. Good wines, beers and cocktails and a convivial atmosphere. Great for apero time and après-ski.

Open in summer and winter at lunchtimes and in the evenings. Open during the inter seasons too.

10. Home Burgers

Home Burgers in Les Gets serves a wide selection of homemade gourmet burgers, bruschettas and sandwiches right at the foot of the pistes, making it a convenient and satisfying stop during a day on the mountain. The menu covers everything from steak and chicken to pulled pork, fish and tasty vegetarian options, most of which can be doubled in size if you’re extra hungry. Whether you’re grabbing a quick takeaway or settling in for a hearty meal, it’s a reliably delicious choice.

Home Burgers is a must-visit spot in Les Gets, perfectly located at the foot of the pistes and open throughout the summer and winter seasons. Whether you’re stopping by after a day on the slopes or grabbing a quick bite while exploring in summer, you’ll find a great selection of homemade burgers, bruschettas, sandwiches and paninis.

The burger menu is impressively varied with options including steak, chicken, pulled pork, fish and vegetarian choices. You can even double the size if you’re feeling extra hungry. Everything is made fresh, and the generous home fries are a tasty sidekick to your meal. Whether you choose to eat in or take away, Home Burgers serves up hearty, loaded burgers that hit the spot every time.

11. La Biskatcha Restaurant

This Brasserie is one of three restaurants situated in the Hotel La Marmotte in the centre of Les Gets.

The modern interior is simple but striking with large colourful light fitting and stripy sofa benches. There is plenty of space between tables to accommodate guests comfortably and the staff are welcoming and attentive which adds to the convivial atmosphere.

The restaurant serves a variety of grilled meat dishes from Iberian pork to a selection of fresh fish. There are a number of hearty meat-based main courses on offer and the menu also includes a number of pasta and risotto dishes suitable for vegetarians. For those travelling with young children, you'll find a special children's menu for those under ten.

The restaurant is open everyday, all year round.

12. La Paika Restaurant

Open throughout the winter season, this restaurant, located in the heart of the Les Gets ski area offers you a warm welcome. There's a sunny terrace with stunning views, fantastic food, good wine and infamous BBQ buffets.

The chef prepares daily specials according to seasonal produce bought from the local market. His cuisine is an artful blend of traditional and modern flavours. There are daily specials cooked on a traditional vertical barbecue.

Located on the blue slope of the “La Turche” draglift, they're open seven days a week in winter, until the lifts close.

Don’t hesitate to contact them to find out how to get there on foot (Snow-shoes recommended). Alternatively, you can always take the shuttle which leaves from the hotel La Marmotte (who run this restaurant) at 10:45am every Tuesday and Thursday of the season. You are welcome to call in any time but reservations are advised to avoid disappointment.

In summer the restaurant opens every Saturday lunchtime for a rural BBQ - departure from Hotel La Marmotte at 11:00am - check in advance. On a Wednesday evening in summer is a walk from La Marmotte to La Paika for an apero dinatoire - advanced booking at the hotel is essential.
