Canyoning excursion on the river Dranse for all abilities from 12 years and above
Fancy diving, swimming, sliding, abseiling and discovering how the water dug its paths along the river and the rocks? Canyoning is for you!
The activity takes place on the Dranse river and will last approximately two hours. You can be collected from Morzine or Avoriaz and taken to the start of the activity. There will be a maximum of 12 people per group.
You'll descend into the canyon in several ways - walking, jumping, swimming, abseiling, sliding, etc. This activity can be done during the summer months and is a fun activity for all the family and friends!
Canyoning is suitable for all abilities from the age of 12 upwards, however, you must be able to swim and have a reasonable level of fitness.
For families with children from 8 to 11 years old, you can take part in this activity in the easier Balme canyon next to Cluses (45 minutes drive from Morzine).
Appropriate shoes for canyoning (trainers with good grip that you don't mind getting wet), spare shoes, swimsuit and a towel.

Located near the Pleney lift and l’Opera nightclub, L’Etale is reputed to be one of Morzine's best restaurants, serving great food at a reasonable price. It is a versatile restaurant for families and groups, although in high season if you’re in a large group it’s definitely worth booking ahead as it does get very busy.

Le Pointe de Nyon offers stunning mountain views and a unique nature park with birds of prey alongside a menu of traditional French and Savoyard dishes. Its famous Savoyard burger with Reblochon and red wine onion compote is a must-try. Open daily with activities for all ages, it’s perfect for a mountain day out.
La Grange Restaurant is hidden down a little back road, less than 100 metres from the tourist office in the centre of Morzine, and only 100 metres from the bottom of the Pleney, making it a great alternative to eating up the mountain.
Take a seat in this charming rustic restaurant which has traditional alpine furnishings throughout. They have an excellent menu with plenty of Savoyard favourites to choose from.
Escape the busy slopes this winter and strap on some snowshoes!
The Morzine summer luge winds it's way down the left hand side of the Pleney. Take the La Crusaz chairlift up with your sledge and make your way down the track.
The Hive is a well equipped modern and spacious gym for solo or group training.
This gym is fully equipped with all the equipment you need for a great workout. Located at L'Aiglon de Morzine Residence, just five minutes from the centre of resort, it is also open to the public.
This ski school offers off-piste and ski touring lessons in Morzine for those looking to take their skiing or snowboarding to the next level.
The Pointe de Nyon area is dedicated to hiking trails and discovering the fauna that lives in the mountains.
