A great spot to grab a bite along the walk is Le Vaffieu Restaurant. This place gets really busy at lunch time, so it is advisable to book ahead.
It makes a great pit stop for a quick snack and they have lots of sun chairs so you can take the weight off your feet.
Located near the Pleney lift and lโOpera nightclub, LโEtale is reputed to be one of Morzine's best restaurants, serving great food at a reasonable price. It's a versatile restaurant for families and groups, although in high season if youโre in a large group itโs definitely worth booking ahead as it does get very busy.
La Grange Restaurant is hidden down a little back road, less than 100 metres from the tourist office in the centre of Morzine, and only 100 metres from the bottom of the Pleney, making it a great alternative to eating up the mountain.

The Morzine summer luge winds it's way down the left hand side of the Pleney. Take the La Crusaz chairlift up with your sledge and make your way down the track.
This gym is fully equipped with all the equipment you need for a great workout. Located at L'Aiglon de Morzine Residence, just five minutes from the centre of resort, it is also open to the public.

Starting from outside the front of the tourist office, head towards Rue du Bourg until you hit a sports shop where you want to turn right into Rue de la Vieille Crusaz. This takes you through the old town of Morzine, offering beautiful architecture and old traditional style buildings. Keep following the road downhill, taking Chemin de la Coutettaz on the right and go up underneath the trees, below the Mas de la Coutettaz.
From here, follow directions for the Nyon waterfall, 'Cascade de Nyon'. Going past the new fire station continue walking along the river Dranse, the path will fork to the right after about 10 minutes and will head towards the waterfall. Once at the waterfall you can take in the cascading water and enjoy the surrounding beauty of the mountains.
From the waterfall continue walking uphill until you reach a restaurant. Take the left turn after it heading towards the 'Nyon par le Pre Fabre'. A field will appear, continue climbing along the track until you hit the road. Cross the road through the tunnel and follow the signs for 'Retour des Nants' joining the Pleney cable car station. To get back from the start follow the road which will be signposted 'Taille de Mas du Pleney'
