Chalet Sandjeman is a modern five-bedroom chalet on the mountainside above Morzine. It is a peaceful retreat on the edge of the forest, yet only takes eight minutes to walk to the local bars and restaurants close to the Mairie de Morzine. A further four-minute walk will take you to the central square next to the Morzine Tourist Board, close to Pléney and Super Morzine lifts.
Chalet Sandjeman is a beautiful retreat, cleverly designed across four floors with half-levels to create a cosy, spacious atmosphere for up to 12 guests. Crafted from warm larch wood, the chalet exudes a welcoming ambience, while generous terraces and balconies on each floor offer stunning views of the surrounding forest and mountains.
Second floor (the heart of the chalet):
The open-plan kitchen and dining area is perfect for gathering. The large dining table comfortably seats 12, making it ideal for shared meals. The kitchen features a big island for preparing your meals, or we can arrange for a private chef to cook for you on request. If you prefer, we can also have pre-cooked meals delivered to the chalet.
Half a level up:
The living room area is designed for relaxation, with a large sofa, TV nook, and a crackling fireplace. There’s a selection of board games and speakers for entertainment, making it a great space for socialising.
Third floor:
Another living room offers mountain views through floor-to-ceiling windows, creating a peaceful spot to unwind. From here, a hidden wooden door leads to the wellness area, which includes a spa treatment room, shower, and access to the outdoor barrel sauna and hot tub—perfect for soaking in uninterrupted views of the forest. If you’d like a spa treatment, we can arrange for a therapist to visit the chalet at an additional cost.
Level four (Master Bedroom):
The master bedroom enjoys panoramic mountain views and features an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub, offering a luxurious space to relax. On level three, you'll find three additional double bedrooms, each with an en-suite shower room and floor-to-ceiling windows that open onto a private balcony.
Level one (kids’ area):
This level is designed for the kids, with a bunk room featuring four single beds, a TV lounge, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bathtub.

The chalet sleeps up to 12 people, as follows:
- The bunk room (bedroom 1) has four single beds, a terrace and an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bathtub
- Bedroom 2 has a double bed and an en-suite shower room with a double-sink. A floor-to-ceiling window opens onto a balcony
- Bedroom 3 features a double bed and an en-suite shower room. A floor-to-ceiling window opens onto a balcony
- Bedroom 4 has a double bed and an en-suite shower room. A floor-to-ceiling window opens onto a balcony
- Bedroom 5 (Master) has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub and shower. It also has a terrace with mountain views
Dining
This property is let on a self-catering basis, however, this doesn’t mean you need to cook for yourself! There are a number of private chefs you can book who can prepare your meals for the full week or the odd night. Alternatively, you could opt for a food delivery service.
You'll also get a welcome hamper with a bottle of Champagne and beers, so you can toast to a great holiday as soon as you arrive. The hamper also includes milk, biscuits, tea bags, coffee pods, crisps and sugar.
