Four Twenty L'Élé Chalet
5 Bedroom Chalet in Morzine. Sleeps 10
Once a traditional stable, Four Twenty L’Elé is now a stunning chalet in Morzine with floor-to-ceiling windows, a wood-burning stove, garden and hot tub overlooking the valley. Perfect for holidays with friends or family, the two living rooms and two kitchens give you the option of your own space or time together.
Four Twenty L’Elé is a stunning architectural masterpiece, transformed in 2017 from a traditional horse stable into a sleek, modern chalet. Featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, industrial-inspired elements, and designer fixtures, this chalet offers a calm, stylish space to enjoy your holiday in Morzine, whether you're visiting in winter or summer.
The entrance level opens up into a spacious, open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area, flooded with light from the expansive glass-fronted wall overlooking the garden and Parc des Dérêches. Glass doors lead to a balcony where you can soak up the sunshine throughout the day and into the evening. The sitting area, with a wood-burning stove, and the large dining table with rocking chairs make it easy to relax and enjoy the view. The open-plan kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering and offers a sociable setting for guests. If you choose to hire a chef, they’ll find everything needed to cater in the chalet. A laundry room, with a separate washer and dryer, is tucked behind the kitchen for your convenience.
From the living room, an outdoor staircase leads down to the garden, where you can relax in the hot tub, taking in stunning valley views. A striking glass staircase leads to the top floor, where two bedrooms and a master suite are all en-suite. The master suite boasts a king-sized bed and views over the living area, maximising the glass-fronted wall and offering incredible views of the valley. The bathroom features a freestanding bath, allowing you to enjoy the scenery while you soak. The exposed beams are an integral feature of the design but make the room unsuitable for children. The other two bedrooms can be set up as either twin or double rooms, both with en-suite shower rooms.
The lower level of the chalet provides a second spacious living area with a wood-burning stove, television, open-plan dining area, and a second kitchen. A large private balcony, accessed from the living room, offers another sunny outdoor space. Two large bedrooms are also located on this floor, each with their own en-suite shower room. These rooms can be configured as double or twin, and the extra-large sofa in the living room can be transformed into a sofa bed if needed.
The layout of Four Twenty L’Elé makes it perfect for multi-generational families or two families sharing, offering two separate living spaces with independent kitchens, dining, and living areas, which can be opened up to create one expansive chalet.
There’s parking for four cars, plus a ski and boot storage area at the entrance with heated boot warmers to ensure your boots are dry and ready for the next day. In summer, there’s access to a lockable storage area for bikes, with a sheltered outdoor space for bike, ski, and board maintenance.
