The annual Trophée des Hauts Forts ski tour race in Avoriaz is a fun end of season celebration in memory of local hero Arthur Richard, consiting of a 1,000m climb up to the Hauts Forts from Prodains followed by a dash down the Bleue du Lac and then another 300m climb up Fornet before a ski to finish outside Chez-Flo.

The world's leading obstacle race company brings it's competition to Morzine over one weekend, with races over 5km, 10km, 21km and 50km and a childrens race with obstacles of 1 to 3km.

Morzine Harley Days is back in Morzine as the Harley Davidson Owners Group (HOG) descends on the resort for a long weekend.

Located near the Pleney lift and l’Opera nightclub, L’Etale is reputed to be one of Morzine's best restaurants, serving great food at a reasonable price. It's a versatile restaurant for families and groups, although in high season if you’re in a large group it’s definitely worth booking ahead as it does get very busy.

La Grange Restaurant is hidden down a little back road, less than 100 metres from the tourist office in the centre of Morzine, and only 100 metres from the bottom of the Pleney, making it a great alternative to eating up the mountain.

This restaurant has a strong reputation for good traditional cooking influenced by the cuisine from the South-West of France, expect to find lots of duck on the menu!

Hideout Bar, located within the popular Hideout Hostel in Morzine, is renowned for the vibrant and flavour-packed food served at its in-house restaurant. This gym is fully equipped with all the equipment you need for a great workout. Located at L'Aiglon de Morzine Residence, just five minutes from the centre of resort, it is also open to the public.
