Elegant luxury chalet hotel in an original alpine farmhouse setting
Comprising three of the oldest buildings in Morzine, this hotel has been renovated with great care to create a Morzine manor house of exceptional charm and character.
There are eleven bedrooms in total, seven of which are in the main house (the Corner Room, Blue Room, Family Suite comprising two adjoining rooms, Old Kitchen, India, the Grange, and Cell). The Atelier and Cottages are situated in the barn, while the Mazot stands independently in the garden.
All eleven bedrooms have been beautifully renovated without losing their original charm and character. Each room is equipped with 100% cotton linen, bathrobes, and L’Occitane bathroom products. A selection of synthetic or down bedding can be provided for guests with allergies, as can cots for children and babies.
Dinner is offered to hotel residents in winter, and there’s also a bar. In summer, the property operates on a bed and breakfast basis, except during weddings and events.
Just off the bar, you’ll find a relaxing sitting room with plenty of games to keep the whole family entertained, along with a well-stocked library featuring an eclectic selection of books. There’s also a TV with satellite channels and a large choice of videos and DVDs.
When you reach Morzine turn right just after the Renault garage onto the Avenue Joux Plane, the restaurant/bar La Rotonde should be on your left. Continue straight ahead past the ESF on your left then the ski shop Felix Ski on your right. Just after Felix Ski and before the round-about take the last left turn, continue to the bottom of this short road and turn right. You will see La Mas de la Coutettaz, a large stone and wood house just ahead on the left.
The name on the house is LE MAS DE LA COUTETTAZ, the original French name and not "The Farmhouse" so take care to remember this when seeking us out. Do not hesitate to call either number above if you have difficulties.
The drive from Calais is approximately 9 hours and from Geneva approximately 1.5 hours.
